When I was young we didn’t have traditional cakes very often. Instead my mom got petit fours from the bakery whenever we had something to celebrate. I thought they were so posh and absolutely loved them! If I have to be honest I still like them better than birthday cake! The only downside is that you can’t make them hold many candles hahaha
