You’ll never run out of these cookies and they won’t go stale! They’re almost as good as the real thing! The pattern is simple and even the beginning crocheter will be able to make a handful of these in an hour or two.

– Wool needle
– Scrap yarn. Dark brown for the chocolate chips and all kinds of colors for the sprinkles on the cornstarch cookie
– Scissors
Make a ring
1. 6 sc in ring (6)
2. 2sc in every sc around (12)
3. (1 sc in sc, 2 sc in next sc) repeat to end (18)
4. (2 x 1 sc in sc, 2 sc in next sc) repeat to end (24)
5. (3 x 1 sc in sc, 2 sc in next sc) repeat to end (30)
If you are making the cornstarch cookie, continue with 8. Continue with 6. if you’re crocheting the chocolate chip cookie. The cornstarch cookie is a bit smaller.
6. (4 x 1 sc in sc, 2 sc in next sc) repeat to end (36)
7. (4 x 1 sc in sc, sc2tog) repeat to end (30)
8. (3 x 1 sc in sc, sc2tog) repeat to end (24)
9. (2 x 1 sc in sc, sc2tog) repeat to end (18)
10. (1 sc in sc, sc2tog) repeat to end (12)
11. (sc2tog) repeat to end (6)
Break yarn and close the remaining hole by weaving through the stitches and pulling it shut. Embroider on the choco chips or the colorful sprinkles. I put the chips on both sides; the sprinkles only at the top of the cookie.
