What you need
– 3,5 hook (E/4)
– Yarn in a nice springy color and a little bit of leftover black. I made my bunny in worsted weight acrylic
– Stuffing/filling
– 2 safety eyes (I got a whole bunch of them for cheap at AliExpress)
– Wool needle
– Scissors
We start at the top of the head and work our way down. The body and legs are crocheted attached to the head. Only the ears and the arms are crocheted seperatly.
Head
1. 6 sc in ring (6)
2. 2 sc in every sc (12)
3. *1 sc in sc, 2 sc in next sc – repeat from * (18)
4. *(1 sc in sc) x2, 2 sc in next sc – repeat from * (24)
5. *(1 sc in sc) x3, 2 sc in next sc – repeat from * (30)
6. *(1 sc in sc) x9, 2 sc in next sc – repeat from * (33)
7. *(1 sc in sc) x10, 2 sc in next sc – repeat from * (36)
8. – 15. (8 rounds in total) 1 sc in every sc

— Stuff the leg with filling

— Using the yarn needle, weave through the remaining stitches and close the hole. Re-attach the yarn and make the second leg using the remaining 15 stitches.
Making the thumb
In round 4 in the pattern for the arms you come we’re making a thumb. It’s done in the following way.
*Yarn over, put the needle in the sc, yarn over, pull up a loop, yarn over, pull needle through 2 loops.
Repeat 3x from *
Yarn over. You should now have 5 loops on the needle. Pull the needle through the loops.
There you go! You made a little thumb.
Arm
1. 6 sc in ring
2. 2 sc in every sc (12)
3. *(1 sc in sc) x 3, 2 sc in next sc. Repeat 3 x in total from * (15)
4. (1 sc in sc) x 7, make a thumb, (1 sc in sc) x 7
5. – 10. (six rounds in total) Decrease 1 stitch in every round, try to spread the decreases out. At the end of round 10, 9 stitches will be remaining.
— Stuff the hand
11 t/m 27 (17 rounds) 1 sc in every sc
— The first arm is done. Make another one and attach them to the bunny.
